Anhingas dive into the water headfirst and can stay underwater fishing for up to 30 seconds. It uses its sharp beak and a fast neck movement to spear a fish, it then comes out of the water, tosses the fish in the air and swallows it whole. After eating it, will find a perch to dry its wings.
